Several **new international China routes** have been added or are about to launch, with the busiest recent activity coming from **Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia**. For Australian travellers connecting via regional hubs, the most notable updates include **Yinchuan–Singapore**, **Chengdu–Ho Chi Minh City**, and a wave of new or resumed services from Korean carriers into secondary Chinese cities.[12][10][1] According to **ECNS**, a new **Yinchuan–Guangzhou–Singapore** service launched on 11 August and now operates **daily** with 9 Air, opening a new air corridor between northwest China and Southeast Asia.[12] **China Daily** reports that Sun PhuQuoc Airways has started a **Chengdu–Ho Chi Minh City** route with **four flights a week**, alongside its existing Chengdu–Phu Quoc service, and has signalled further China expansion plans.[10] On the Northeast Asia side, **Fleet Wire** reports that Jin Air will begin **Incheon–Yichang** on **17 September**, Eastar Jet will start **Daegu–Zhangjiajie** on **1 September**, and Korean Air has secured rights for an **Incheon–Wuxi** route that it may launch later.[1] For travellers planning China itineraries, these new routes are useful because they improve access to **regional destinations** such as **Yichang, Zhangjiajie, Qingdao, Yantai, and Wuxi**, rather than only the main gateways like Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.[1] **China Daily** also notes that Air China has begun using the **C919** on its daily **Beijing–Ulaanbaatar** service, which does not add a China domestic city pair but does expand international connectivity from Beijing.[6][7]
