Several **new and expanded China flight routes** have been announced for travellers, led by South Korea’s latest air rights allocation and a new Myanmar–China service. According to **SBS News** and **Yonhap via Bernama**, South Korean airlines have been given traffic rights on 25 international routes, with new or expanded China services from **Incheon, Busan, Cheongju, Daegu, Yangyang and Muan** to cities including **Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Dalian, Chengdu, Harbin, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Xiamen, Yanji and Zhangjiajie**.[4][5][10] For travellers, the most useful changes are the **higher frequencies** on established routes and the new regional departures. Incheon–Beijing will rise from **38 to 52 flights a week**, Incheon–Shanghai from **56 to 63**, while Incheon–Guangzhou and Incheon–Dalian will both increase to **28 weekly flights**; Busan is set to gain direct links to **Chengdu** and **Harbin** four times weekly each, and **Yangyang** is due to resume international flying after nearly four years with routes to **Shanghai** and **Hangzhou**.[2][4][6][12] Separately, **AeroRoutes** reports that **Myanmar Airways International** will launch **Yangon–Chengdu Tianfu** from **15 October to 28 December 2026**, operating **three times weekly** with Airbus **A319** aircraft.[1] That adds another option for travellers connecting between Southeast Asia and western China, especially for itineraries involving **Chengdu**.[1]
