Several new and expanded **China international flight routes** are being added this month and over the coming weeks, with notable growth from Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Kazakhstan and Europe. For Australian travellers, the most immediate development is **Shenzhen Airlines’ new Sydney–Shenzhen service**, which starts **14 December** and will operate **four times a week** on Airbus A330 aircraft, according to Shenzhen’s municipal government and local reporting.[17][20] China is also seeing fresh long-haul and regional additions elsewhere. According to Hainan Airlines, it is launching **new Mexico City and Tijuana services to Beijing**.[1] FlyArystan began **Almaty–Chongqing** flights on **23 September**, operating **twice weekly** on Wednesdays and Saturdays, while Malaysia Airlines has expanded its China network to **nine gateways**, including new daily services to **Shenzhen and Changsha**.[3][4] In North America, YVR is set for more mainland China capacity, with **32 weekly flights on nine routes** planned in November; those include Beijing Capital Airlines’ resumed **Vancouver–Beijing** service from **2 October** and China Southern’s increase to **four weekly Vancouver–Guangzhou flights** from **25 October**, according to local reporting.[2][13] For travellers, these additions mean more choice on nonstop China itineraries, especially if you are connecting via Sydney, Vancouver or major Asian hubs.[7][17]
